In 1922, a group of friends and neighbors established the Cleveland Park Club to "be a social and recreational center of the best neighborhood in Washington." The mission of this private social club is "to promote social interaction, recreation, sports, literature and the arts for mutual improvement," as stated in the Club Certificate of Incorporation from November 21, 1922. Over the years, the Cleveland Park Club has transformed into a cherished community treasure where we gather to swim in our private pool, meet for potluck suppers, enjoy both adult and children's programming, and attend summer camp. Don't forget to check out our Events Calendar for details on our upcoming programming!
