Twinkle Toes is a petite ballet class that will focus on creative movement with very basic ballet technique. The dancers will be learning different concepts and elements that will help with their motor skills and awareness of their bodies. They will have story time and afterwards will perform a section of the story through ballet.

Crazy Play for Babies and Toddlers, Tuesdays 9:30-11:00 am

This creative playgroup (newborn - 3 years old) led by Val Tomkins is a great way for children (and adults!) to get together, play, discover, and make new friends!
We begin with 45 minutes of free play with balls, blocks, toys, puzzles, and tunnels, followed by a snack and "Bubble Time" before we all clean up together. The last portion of the class includes a circle time sing-a-long and games with the parachute.
Details: Tuesdays, 9:30 - 11:00 am. 14 classes.
Member pricing: $155/first child, $120/additional child, $18/single class Non-member pricing: $190/first child, $145/additional child, $22/single class

Kaizen Karate will be offering a Beginner II Class at the Cleveland Park Club. This weekly class meets from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with Kaizen Karate, students learn proper form, style, and technique, according to their individual skill level. In addition to karate instruction, students gain valuable lessons related to discipline, motivation, self-respect and continual improvement.Kaizen's Beginner II class is tailored toward those who have a yellow belt.

Baby Music! From Newborns to Toddlers, music is a common experience that brings joy to all of us! Music is known to be especially valuable as babies and toddlers learn language, rhythm, patterns, steady beat, musical form, and positive social interaction. Meadowlark Music classes will lead you through a mix of classic favorites and original baby-tested ideas, using sound pedagogical approaches as well as fun-loving creativity!
Enjoy instruments, singing, parachute games, sign language, dancing and movement, puppets, and creative props. This is also an excellent "friend-making" environment designed to create connections between the attending Mommies, Daddies, caregivers and babies as well.

Audrey Sayer Art Club

Audrey Sayer and Isabel Moffly will be teaching this fun after-school art class. Emphasis will be on process as well as exploring different art mediums through craft projects. Audrey has been teaching art at the Franklin Montessori School in Van Ness since 2010 and Isabel was her assistant there for 3 years. Isabel is currently in a Master’s of Interior Architecture and Design program at George Washington University. Both Audrey and Isabel have bachelor degrees in fine art.
